6th , 7th and 11th Sep – Inspico 2017
Inspico is a project in the Professional Development avenue focusing on the enhancement of industrial exposure of undergraduates in University of Moratuwa. Industrial visits were organized to Hsenid Solutions pvt Ltd , Waterboard Sri Lanka and Loadstar pvt Ltd targeting Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Chemical engineering undergraduates respectively.

The theme reveal of the year round Club Service project CAST 4 was held in the university premises. “Game of Thrones” was unveiled as the theme for the year 2017/18 and four teams were revealed as Baratheons, Lannisters, Targareon and Stark. The fun filled themed event consisted of many games and activities.

A sub project of ‘Grama prabodhaya’ in the Community Service avenue was held at Ranugalla Kanishta Vidyalaya, Monaragala. Maths and Science seminars targeting the GCE O/L Examination 2017 was conducted for the students by our fellow Rotaractors.
16-17 th Sep- Inspirer (English Seminar)
A sub project of ‘Grama prabodhaya’ in the Community Service avenue was held at Ranugalla Kanishta Vidyalaya, Monaragala. A Special English seminar targeting the GCE O/L Examination 2017 was conducted for the students by our fellow Rotaractors.
“Colours” is the painting session held for the Child cancer patients at the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. The children creatively expressed themselves with colours on paper as the Rotaractors gained inspiration from the genuine works of art. The paintings from the session would be printed on greeting cards and sold to raise funds for the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
The Orientation for the year 2017 targeting the freshers of University of Moratuwa was held at the New TLM Auditorium in the university premises. The event focused on how Rotaract can build one’s character whilst serving for the betterment of the community at large. Fun activities and ice breaking activities were also organized to enrich the spirits of the enthusiastic fresh undergraduates.
