Peace is a state of harmony characterized by the lack of violence, conflict behaviors, and freedom from fear of violence. Therefore, every human being has a right to enjoy peace within their countries as well as to live in a space with a lack of threats.

Earthly peace for a better livelihood, spacely peace for a better respire.

In the mid-20th century, the United States and the Soviet Union explored the placement and development of ballistic-missile technology in weaponry and military in outer space. Since then, they started using outer space as an operating location for experimenting with military space crafts and ballistic missiles.

During the cold war as the space race began, in 1957 USSR launched its first artificial satellite,( Sputnik 1). At the end of the 1960s, both countries regularly deployed satellites using them in military installations. Not long after getting all this to an end, both countries started developing anti-satellite weapons which could destroy the opposition party’s satellites which eventually led to “national technical means of verification” which is a treaty on spy satellites.

Yet with no sign of pausing, as the technology and science being powerful with the time being, “Rocket Science Technology” was developed leading to the creation of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM). Which literally can strike any target on earth. Not the only United States and Soviet  Union(Russia) but also the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Israel, Spain, India and more started creating and launching military satellites.

As for the undying mysteries scattered in science and technology gradually started unleashing,  consisting of 24 satellites Global positioning system (GPS) emerged, not pleasing with that they started becoming more advanced by inventing military communication systems (which allow real-time super speed communication in the battlefield), military spaceplanes (project x-37) and enabling weapons on space (Salyut 3, TP-82 Cosmonaut survival pistol ).

Resulting creating “space warfare” which is an outer space outside the atmosphere where satellites can combat. However, this zone does not include any espionage, surveillance, or military communicating satellites.

With all these revolutions happening as a result of interest in science and development in technology, nations together had to create space treaties, where everybody agrees to mutually assured destruction (MAD) where the use of nuclear weapons is getting restricted. Outer space treaty and Mood treaty can be stated as two major treaties out of other treaties. Apart from National Missile  Defense (NMD) was created which reduced space research and maintain space peace.

Science unleashes the marvels of creativity and technology which paves a path for those greatest creations to shine. So, looking in a wider view and exploring the mysteries of nature is an art. But humanity is also much more important as economic progress and gaining national power therefore, going alone with space treaties and raising to protect the eternal space without going to extreme supremacy with emerging technology is up to us.

Let’s, be aware and work together for a peaceful space with new innovations!
