Cast 4- Sports day

The Sports Day of the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa was held on the 18th of October 2015 at University ground premises, for the first time in Rotaract Mora history. The Sports Day, which was the second episode of CAST – 4 annual project organized by the Avenue of Club Services of the Rotaract Club, is an arena where Rotaractors can show their sporting talents. The project was chaired by Rtr. Adeesha Jayasooriya and Rtr. Lasindu Hewawasam.
The Rotaractors competed in Cricket, Badminton, Basketball and several other fun games. All the sports were played between CAST-4 teams which are Vikings, Spartans, Gladiators and Centurions. The first place of the event was won by the Gladiators with their outstanding performance in Cricket and Basketball. The second place was won by the Centurions with a spectacular victory in Badminton. Third and fourth place were won by Spartans and Vikings respectively.
The excitement was felt by all involved as everyone gave their maximum support and added their enthusiasm to the Sports Day. All the participants had a lot of fun throughout the day taking part in sports, building the team spirit and creating new friendships with each other. The event added many enjoyable memories to the Rotaract Mora history.
