In the end, though Gateway bowed out, it paved the way for Bandaranayake College to join the fray.
On 12th October, the main debate unfolded virtually with meticulous organization and moderation. Despite its virtual nature, the organizing committee's commitment to excellence was evident as they secured a hall within the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering on the university grounds for seamless coordination. Meanwhile, the heated battle rounds transpired across various schools. The panel of esteemed judges for the debate contest comprised Dr. (Ms.) M. M. I. D. Manthilake, Ms. W. M. M. Wijekoon, Ms. K. G.
